Who we are
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly when you use Lodgelivo:
- Account data: name, email address, hashed password (if applicable), profile photo.
- Phone number: collected during signup for SMS verification and transactional messages.
- Booking data: stay dates, room selection, traveler details, messages exchanged with hosts.
- Host data: property name, address, photos, rates, availability, cancellation policy.
- Payment data: processed by our payment provider. Lodgelivo does not store full card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, pages visited. Used for security and product improvement.
SMS messaging and opt-in
Lodgelivo uses SMS for transactional purposes only:
- One-time verification codes (OTP) during sign-up and sign-in.
- Booking confirmations when a reservation is placed.
- Reservation updates (date changes, approvals, cancellations).
- Host and guest booking-related messages.
Opt-in: By entering your phone number during sign-up and checking the SMS-consent box, you expressly agree to receive the transactional SMS messages described above.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any Lodgelivo message at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact [email protected].
Costs: Message and data rates may apply. Typical usage is 1–10 messages per booking.
Lodgelivo does not send marketing or promotional SMS, and we do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in/opt-out data are not shared with affiliates or third parties other than our SMS delivery provider (Telnyx) strictly for message delivery.
How we use information
- Operate the Lodgelivo marketplace (bookings, messaging, payouts).
- Verify your identity and secure your account (OTP, fraud checks).
- Send transactional emails and SMS.
- Comply with legal obligations (tax, anti-fraud, subpoenas).
- Improve our product and diagnose technical issues.
Sharing your information
We share information only with:
- Hosts you book with — name and booking details (never your phone number) so they can prepare for your stay.
- Law enforcement when required by valid legal process.
